Dr. Brett Axelrod is from Westchester and serves the communities of White Plains, Tarrytown, Dobbs Ferry, Hartsdale, Ardsley, Greenburgh, Valhalla, West Harrison, Thornwood, Armonk, Hastings and Elmsford.
A lifelong athlete, Dr. Axelrod was introduced to chiropractic during his college basketball career. After seeing the dramatic improvement it made in his athletic performance, his health and his life, in general, he was determined to become a chiropractor and bring safe, natural health care to his home community.
Married and the father of two young daughters, Dr. Axelrod has seen firsthand the advantages of the chiropractic lifestyle for his own family. Since 1993, Dr. Axelrod has remained active in the community. He is the past president of the Elmsford Rotary Club, and has lectured extensively to companies such as Texaco, Hitachi, Avon, Ciba Chemical, Crowne Plaza Management, Akzo Chemical, and many others.
He has lectured on topics as diverse as improvement of ergonomic workstations, stress reduction, injury prevention and improving job productivity. In addition, he is a certified chiropractic sports physician, and has worked extensively with professional athletes, including a position as former team physician for the Westchester Stallions of the United States Basketball League.
Dr. Axelrod consults with other chiropractors and is a partner with The Markson Connection, a chiropractic consulting organization. His affiliations include the International Chiropractic Association and the New York Chiropractic Council. Through these affiliations, he is knowledgeable about the latest chiropractic research, insurance, political concerns, and success philosophy.
Dr. Axelrod has received the Chiropractic of the Year Award in recognition of his tireless efforts for the patients he serves, his colleagues and the Chiropractic Profession. He also has received the Chiropractic Achievement Award for professional competence and outstanding service to the patients he serves.
The doctors here at Elmsford Chiropractic volunteer their time with the Foundation of Wellness Professionals. This non-profit organization consists of healthcare professionals who donate their time within their own communities to educate the public about health, through workshops on various topics.
Dr. Elias Arnitsis is an experienced and dedicated doctor ready to utilize his skills to help all those in the local community wishing to add years to their life and life to their years without the harmful effects of drugs and surgery. He is happy to help you reach your health oriented goals with the natural methods incorporated within chiropractic care.
Dr. Elias Arnitsis completed his undergraduate studies at New York Institute of Technology and North Lake College. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Medical Sciences, Bachelor of Science in Human Anatomy and a Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness. Dr. Arnitsis completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic at the prestigious Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX.
Prior to joining the team at Elmsford Chiropractic, Dr. Arnitsis practiced in Cortland, OH and in Paramus, NJ, where he gained valuable expertise in adjusting techniques that are based on the latest research in neurophysiology. During that time, he also worked with professional athletes from teams such as the New York Giants, the Minnesota Vikings, and the New England patriots.
His passion is to teach patients a true wellness lifestyle through Corrective Chiropractic care. With wellness care, the human body is able to reach its full capacity to heal and perform at its best. True wellness involves the honoring of that capacity, through proper care of the human spine, a nutritious diet and efficient exercise planning. After spending this extensive time and study afield, Dr. Arnitsis is proud to return back to his home state, where he lives in Queens.
